The Employees of the HCWSA
The HCWSA employs people to operate its water and sewer system 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  The policy of the Authority is to employ the minimum number/amount of staff necessary to effectively and safely accomplish the job.  The cost of all positions is included in the annual operating budget approved by the HCWSA Board of Directors.

HCWSA employees have won a number of industry and professional awards.  In addition, the Authority's management, staff, plant operators, and maintenance personnel, are required to be certified by the State of Georgia when responsible for executing specific industry functions.  The Authority has a continuing education program to ensure that its personnel are qualified and able to meet the State of Georgia's certification requirements.
