Engineering
The Henry County Water and Sewerage Authority's (HCWSA) Engineering Department provides plan review and inspection services (see fee structure below) for newly installed water lines, sanitary sewer lines, force mains, lift-stations, and appurtenances for new developments.
Approved plans and a pre-construction conference with the HCWSA's engineering staff are required prior to the installation of any proposed lines that are to be dedicated to the HCWSA system. The Authority also provides plan review and inspection services on behalf of the City of Stockbridge. Areas that are within other City jurisdictions, which require services from the HCWSA, are also required to submit plans separately to HCWSA.
Current Fee Schedules for HCWSA Engineering Services
Effective October 1, 2008, the Henry County Water & Sewerage Authority will begin charging the following fees for HCWSA services. These fees are a result of growing operating costs and increased demand on engineering staff time, and they are in line with those fees of other water utilities, as well as industry standards.
